Akia is the AI agent for hospitality. Hotels and vacation rental managers hand her guest communication and the day-to-day work: check-in, upsells, guest requests, staff dispatch. She handles it across text, web, and email. Thousands of properties run on Akia today. We're venture-backed, founded by a team of ex-Meta engineers and operators.
We're hiring an Enterprise Account Executive. Our largest customers are management companies running hundreds of properties on a single contract, and that's the segment with the most room left in it. You'll carry the number for it.
You'll also be the person who demos an agent to a buying committee that has already been pitched a lot of AI. Corporate ops, IT, revenue, and the GMs who have to live with the thing. The demo that wins is the one where you configure Akia in front of them and she does the work. That only happens if you're genuinely fluent with these tools yourself. Reading about them doesn't count.
What you'll own.
- A new-business quota against enterprise accounts. Multi-property management companies, brands, and portfolio operators.
- The full cycle. Prospecting into corporate, running the evaluation, handling the security and PMS integration questions, pricing, and the close.
- Multi-stakeholder deals. You'll build the case separately for the ops director who wants staff hours back and the CFO who wants the upsell revenue.
- Pilots that convert. Scoping the properties, agreeing the success criteria before anyone starts, and holding the readout when it's over.
- Forecast accuracy. We'd rather hear a deal is slipping in week two than week ten.
- The accounts already sitting inside a partner's book of business, worked alongside partner marketing.
What we're looking for.
- 5+ years closing net-new B2B SaaS, including 2+ years in enterprise carrying a quota over $1M with six-figure deal sizes.
- You've sold to a buying committee, and you can name the last deal you lost and why.
- You run your own demo. No sales engineer holding your hand on a first call.
- Real hands-on fluency with LLMs and agents. You use Claude or ChatGPT every day for actual work, you treat prompting as a craft (context, instructions, examples, iteration), and you've built something with these tools.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Nice to have.
- Hospitality technology background, or time selling into hotel groups and vacation rental management companies.
- You've written agent instructions, custom GPTs, Claude Projects, or Skills that other people actually used.
- Up for regular travel. On-property visits and industry events.
Why this role.
The category is being rebuilt right now and the enterprise segment is wide open. Whoever wins these logos keeps them, and the product is good enough that the demo does most of the work.
