Revival Hotels previously used traditional email platforms to run their marketing campaigns. While usable, the workflow was inefficient and required significant manual effort to build audiences and track results.

  • Audience lists had to be exported from the Stayntouch and manually uploaded for every campaign into their email tool.
  • CSV imports often caused errors, formatting issues, and inaccurate audiences.

Akia provided a hospitality-specific marketing system that directly connected to Revival Hotels’ property management system, Stayntouch. This system provided automated list building, tied every email to real reservations and revenue, and centralized the entire workflow, allowing their team to build, design, send, and track campaigns in one place.

  • Automatic revenue tracking — Every campaign automatically ties back to real bookings and shows exactly which email generated the conversion. Plus, seeing how conversions are divided (Direct vs OTAs). 
  • Unmask OTA emails - Guests are required to provide their email address if they booked through an OTA. This provided a top source for Revival Hotels to grow their marketing list. 
  • Automatically sync with Stayntouch to create audiences - Pull live guest data directly from Stayntouch, and their team no longer has to import or export lists, avoiding the manual errors they used to encounter
  • Audience filters - Exclude guests with upcoming reservations and prevent offering discounts to travelers who have already booked.
  • Flexible builder — Design creatives in Adobe and upload directly into Akia.

Result

In just under four months, across only two properties—The Jackson and their brand-new Hideaway Inn Mt. Sunapee—they were able to generate over $13,500 in revenue.
