September 8, 2021

The Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) is a non-profit association for finance and IT professionals working in hotels, restaurants, casinos, and other hospitality spaces. The association provides educational and networking opportunities to its members and hosts events across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.

The annual Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC) is coming to Dallas on September 27-30 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Center. This conference offers seminars from industry leaders and showcases the latest technology from vendors.

Speakers will include executives from hotels and technology companies like Google, Microsoft, Marriott, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Attendees will learn from senior-level thought leaders on how they are budgeting technology expenses, increasing operational efficiency, creating business value from big data, and more.

Over 252 vendors will be showcasing their products and services during the four-day event. Attendees can visit booths to learn what is new, see a product demonstration, or meet with a representative. Both hardware and software offerings will be on display, from Flexipass and OpenKey to Cloudbeds and Mews .

Akia will be there, too. Hotels can use Akia to build engaging customer journeys through managed communication, increase revenue, and automate workflows. We integrate with other technologies like digital keys and property management systems to help hotels form a robust tech stack. Stop by our booth to meet our team in person and learn more about how our Instant App technology can yield higher customer engagement, save you and your staff countless hours, and highlight your property so you can truly shine.

There are plenty of events happening in Dallas during HITEC. The Texas State Fair will be only 10 minutes away in Fair Park, where visitors can try new food, cheer at a rodeo, and dance to live music. Fifteen minutes away, art lovers can appreciate the Out of Many, One: Portraits of America’s Immigrants” exhibit at the George W. Bush Presidential Center. The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden (20 minutes away) will be celebrating its annual fall festival with over 90,000 pumpkins, squash, and gourds in a colorful village display.

Whether you are an exhibitor or an attendee, we look forward to seeing you there!
